More countries in Adsense Western Union payment scheme
It all boils down to convenience, and for some people, picking up their hard-earned AdSense earnings thru Western Union Quick Cash is the way to go. No more waiting for checks in the mail or for bank clearance. Now, Google has added even more countries for this payment method, including Bulgaria, Egypt, Lithuania, Morocco, and Taiwan, bringing the total number to 14. If you’re interested, here’s the full list of countries currently in the program:
- Argentina
- Bulgaria
- Chile
- China (Mainland)
- Colombia
- Egypt
- Lithuania
- Malaysia
- Morocco
- Pakistan
- Peru
- Philippines
- Romania
- Taiwan
Fortunately, the Philippines is included in the program, and by experience, it was real easy to pick up my money from a local branch. It’s also free, unless you have specific tax laws that cover this kind of money transfer. Even then, it shouldn’t put too much of a dent in your pocket. If your not sure, it’s best to ask your local Western Union office.
All you need to get your payment is a government-issued ID (Passport, Driver’s License, National ID, etc) that matches your AdSense payee name. You can always change this thru your account settings. Remember that the payee name should be that of an individual and not a company. Also, you can opt to get your payment in dollars or in your local currency.
